In 1997, Michael
J. Drapes
began Drapes
Consulting Company Inc, a technology-consulting firm. Drapes Consulting is the largest
reseller of
Sage Software, Inc. products in El Paso
and surrounding area. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of public
accounting experience
in El Paso, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and member of the
American
Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.
Michael has served on the Technology Implementation
Task Force for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), which
oversaw the implementation of the $1 million technology plan for the society.
A life-long resident of El Paso, Michael graduated
from the
University of Texas at El Paso
with a degree in Accounting, he is also an alumnae of
Cathedral High
School. He has also served on the boards of the
El
Paso Chapter of the TSCPA, and
El Paso
Opera.
